Who knew that a 30 minute, pain-free facial could have so many benefits. This is by far one of my most favourite treatments to do on clients.

Dermaplaning is a deep exfoliation treatment, which will resurface the skin texture. Dermaplaning will help to produce collagen production resulting in the elimination and prevention of those fine lines and wrinkles. Dermaplaining will prevent fine lines and wrinkles by plumping out the skin and even remove fine, superficial lines even after one treatment.

After i have treated my clients, they are amazed at how soft, plump and glowing their skin is. This really is an amazing treatment with little to no downtime and can be a luxury, relaxing treatment or a quick lunch break fix. whatever suits you, dermaplaning can be tailored to suit your needs.

Does Dermaplaning Help With Wrinkles?

Dermaplaning is the new revolutionary anti-wrinkle facial treatment. Dermaplaning works by promoting collagen production and bringing a fresh batch of elastin with it, helping with wrinkles and fine lines.

Collagen plays a vital role in keeping the skin looking and feeling young. The older we get the less collagen our bodies produce resulting in fine lines appearing and skin becoming drier. Collagen acts as a healer for the skin. Whenever there is an injury in the skin, no matter how small, collage rushes to this particular area to heal and produce new skin. This is exactly what happens after a dermaplane treatment – when the old skin is scraped off, collagen storms the treated area and produces new, firmer, and more youthful skin. Dermaplaning, by no doubt, can help with wrinkles.

Is Dermaplaning Good For Anti-aging?

Dermaplaning helps to resurface the skin texture by removing the build of dead dead skin cells, making this a perfect treatment for anti-aging. Dermaplaining will prevent fine lines and wrinkles by plumping out the skin and even remove fine, superficial lines even after one treatment.

If you are looking for an anti-aging treatment that is relaxing, pain-free, and leaves your skin glowing like the sun, well, look no further! Dermaplaning is a must-try treatment for anti-aging with instant results immediately after one treatment. Dermaplaning is such a popular treatment due to the instant, addictive results you experience for all ages!

You may be asking yourself – ok so if dermaplaning is good for anti-aging, then can it prevent wrinkles too? Surely prevention is better than cure, right?

Well here is your answer. Dermaplaning can also prevent wrinkles from occurring in the first place, through the deep and rich exfoliation process. By removing dead skin cells, your skin will stay refreshed and younger-looking, which can actively prevent wrinkles from forming, when done regularly, over time.

I can’t believe this is my skin! I look 10 years younger!

Does Dermaplaning Make You Look Younger?

Dermaplaning has many benefits and is so popular in many ages due to your skin looking more plump resulting in you looking younger. The skin is left glowing and super smooth making the appearance of younger and healthy skin.

I have many dermaplaning clients that I do on a daily basis ranging from the late 20s up to the late 60s. No matter the age, everyone always loves the results and comment on how bright and youthful their skin looks! In fact, many of my clients who try this for the first time, then question themselves, why they have never tried dermaplaning before.

As a general rule in some states, dermaplaning should not be performed on anyone under the age of 18 years old. Due to the nature of the treatment and an open blade being used, this will be the aesthetic practitioners’ discretion at the time.

Legally, there is no set age for when you should start dermaplaning, although I would not treat any persons under the age of 18 in my salon, this is down to the aesthetic practitioners’ discretion at the time.

Dermaplaning will help to resurface the skin by removing a build up of dead skin cells and peach fuzz, ultimately leaving the skin looking refreshed, plumped and looking younger.

How Often Should You Dermaplane Your Face?

Ok, so as a general rule, you should dermaplane your skin every 4 to 6 weeks. You wouldn’t want to do this any more frequently as your skin could end up sensitive due to dermaplaning being a deep exfoliating treatment.

This is a question I get asked a lot! I think once you experience the glowing, super smooth skin, you don’t want to be without it so people are keen to keep on top of it. What some people don’t know is, dermaplaning is not a treatment that you need to have done every month or so. This is your own choice. And although the peach fuzz will grow back, it doesn’t mean that it will be any thicker or darker!

I would always advise my own clients that dermaplaning is more of a luxury facial, and by all means if you want to do it regularly then go ahead, but do not feel pressured that you will need to keep doing this if you do not want to. This is not the case!

Clients say ” what if my hair grows back darker and I can’t afford to keep up with monthly treatments?” and, “my friend said after she got her dermaplaning, she felt her hair was like stubble”. Let me say, do not listen to others. This is your personal experience and majority of the time it is not true. Let me tell you why…

Dermaplaning, although being a deep exfoliation treatment, is very superficial. This meaning, we are only taking the hair off at skin level. Not under, not anywhere near the root. For hair to grow back darker or different we would need to be stimulating the bulb, but we are not!

Have a think about this because although you will notice your hair growing back after a dermaplane facial, there’s no way it can be any different to what it was before. You won’t need to have it done every month if you can’t.

How often can I come for my dermaplaning and gold collagen face mask? I love how my skin is each time after and I am definitely hooked!
